CASITA

Casita was showcased in SCANTEAK's Showroom at Toh Guan road. It was also shown in CNA's reporting in creating sustainable furniture from old furniture.

 

Our design intent was to encourage interaction to deepen the bond between the owner and pet. We came up with Casita, which besides having a seat for the human, also caters to the cat with spaces such as a cat home, hiding spot and lookout tower. Casita is a cat friendly furniture that is tailored to a cat’s habits and preferences. 

 

We were inspired by minimalism, with simplicity as the main objective in achieving this design. The form creates a visual balance between light and heavy components, with the contrast of the light and slender form of the cat-tower and the broader, bolder form of the seat.

 

With Casita, you can delight in the company of your feline friend without much intrusion into their privacy.
